Woollie Interlude

There will be a break in travel stories for a post about knitting - yes this craft/travel blog is going to feature some crafting!! Don't faint.....I realise it's been a while.

When I was on holiday in Spain I started to knit Sheldon the Turtle, everyone in the group was waiting to see the outcome, well they may have to wait a little longer, but the knitting is finished!! Now I just have to sew him together.... he is the cutest, he isn't a shy little turtle, he'll come right the way out of his shell!

I THOUGHT that was a turtle when I saw the shell!!! I can't wait until he's finished! I bet you're having fun knitting again. I think I've figured out crochet now... at least the single crochet stitch! Caroline is waiting for me to make some arigurumi animals for her!

My husband have a thing for turtles...maybe I could knit a turtle like that for his birthday...and if I'm lucky it will be ready in 5 years ;)
