I've crossed the finish line! My Garter Stitch Baby Matinee Jacket is complete! I almost fell at the final hurdle when I ran out of wool..... the pattern said 3 balls so 3 balls is what I had, then 8 rows before the end I ran out of wool. I had to undo 2 rows on each part to have enough to finish and then luckily I found enough leftover wool from a previous project to sew it together!
I am pleased with the finished results and I think that I should always knit in competition - it certainly makes sure that I finish something.....

Wool: Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, 3 balls
Needles: 3.75mm
Size: 3 to 6 months
Cast On: Friday 8th August during Olympic Opening Ceremony
Cast Off: Tuesday 19th August at 1830 GMT
Sewn together: Tuesday 19th August at 2230 GMT
Event: Baby Dressage
Team: Scots Can do it To!

Congratulations, I'm very impressed!! Grab a foil blanket and a bottle of sports drink and head on down to the team spa to recover :)
