Ravelympics!

I've crossed the finish line! My Garter Stitch Baby Matinee Jacket is complete! I almost fell at the final hurdle when I ran out of wool..... the pattern said 3 balls so 3 balls is what I had, then 8 rows before the end I ran out of wool. I had to undo 2 rows on each part to have enough to finish and then luckily I found enough leftover wool from a previous project to sew it together!

I am pleased with the finished results and I think that I should always knit in competition - it certainly makes sure that I finish something.....

I posted my completed project over at Ravelry and am awaiting the presentation of my medal!!

it looks great!! :) What a sweet little sweater! Isn't it amazing what a little competition can do to light that fire and get a project done? :)

Wohooo!! Way to go! It is very adorable, and even more so for the tantalizing close finish!
There really is something about knitting during competitions, isn't there? I also seem to get more things done ;)

Congratulations! Your "hardship" story would make a great TV profile for the awards ceremony! Very cute sweater.
