Spring in Colour

I spent a few days in the Lake District last week - weather was mixed, but whatever the weather the Lake District always looks amazing and the colours of spring were everywhere to be seen, from the hawthorn blossom adorning the hedgerow, the cow parsley dominating the roadside to the orange and yellow of Welsh poppies, to the amazing purple of the knapweed, to the pink of the red campion and the blue of the bluebells....

These are very gorgeous photographs Di! Did you get a close-up lens? That one of the clover is incredible! I was just looking at all the dandelions and thinking how they look like starbursts.
