Over at Jane's blog Spain Daily there's a weekly photo project called Corner View, giving everyone the chance to see the small corners of the world that we live in. This week's idea comes from Sophie and is beaches.....now that one is easy for me. There are so many great beaches near us and when the sun is shining (and even when it is not) I like nothing better than to take a wander.....
Just taking a drive around the East Neuk of Fife and you come across many great beaches and little fishing villages such as Pittenweem, Crail and Anstruther. The best places for fish in Scotland, some of the best beaches and walks..... the picture above is Tentsmuir Beach, the sea on one side and the forest on the other - the best of every world!
I dream about a swim in the sea or feeling the sand between your toes! Usually it's a case of, it'll feel better when your feet are numb, when paddling in the sea in Scotland!
Or how about a spot of cricket on the beach as they do on Sunday afternoons in Elie.
And this is a gratuitous shot of a beach, which is not really in my little corner of the world, but it's still in Scotland and Scotland is pretty small so I am sure it can count - Saligo Bay on the island of Islay off the West Coast.
There's links to everyone taking part over on Jane's blog. I will try my best to get the links posted here next time! Off to look at everyone else's beaches!
