WOOLLIE - Recent Creations

A little while ago I agreed a blogger to blogger swap with K over at Lykke og Loekker - one of my baby blankets for some traditional style Danish Christmas decorations!

I sent my little blankie off 10 days ago and it has arrived and at a very appropriate time - check out K's latest blog post!

I chose the Inuit theme because I know that K would like it! They holidayed in Greenland last year and her photo's were really inspiring!!

Easter Peeps

Oh for the love of Ravelry!! Whilst browsing through the hundreds of toy patterns on Ravelry I found at least 4 new patterns that I want to knit - oh the dangers of Ravelry....... at least all the patterns are free!

First up - an Easter gift - Peeps from Kat's Knit Blog - they are so cute and I knit 2 in one evening! That must be a record - 2 finished objects in one night!!

Now I think that Peeps are a very American thing because we don't get them over here - I am sure that they are delicious but the non-edible sort are pretty delicious looking too!!

So much cuteness going on in your post today!

I love the little Peeps but already have so much stuff on my "want to do" list! Mind you ... if you can knit two in one night it would hardly matter, would it? ....

:)

ps. Thanks for your kind comment *blush*, but lets keep things in perspective here .... plus, I don't want to be blamed if Charlie gets sick of making pigeons!!

They are so sweet! And Ravelry is such a dangerous place to hang out.

Your blanket is really cute!!! I love your stitched illustrations!! And your peeps!!! I need to make some now! My son loves to eat them, but did you know that in rural America, REAL peeps were the thing to give children at Easter. Sometimes you'd go to church and your child would receive one from the pastor! At least that's what my husband tells me (I'm a city girl!).

Thanks so much for celebrating our win with me!! I couldn't wait to tell you! Altoona is about 3 hours north of us (nothing else much there!!!) so we are desperately trying to secure 8 hotel rooms!! But it will be fun. I loved seeing all the creativity on Saturday. It's nice to know that the next generation will continue to think outside the box and be creative!

Stunning blankets and very cute Peeps. If only I could understand English knitting patterns....
