WANDERINGS - THE BEST FATHER CHRISTMAS
After readings Green Jello's blog post about the best Father Christmas I decided that at the start of December I would post a photo of the best Father Christmas that I have ever seen. He is more of a European style St Nicholas and I think that adds to his charm.
Where did I find him, this wonderful Old St Nick?? He was in the KaDeWe Department Store in Berlin, underneath the most amazing Christmas tree!!
Does anyone else have a fabulous Father Christmas to share??

Hi Di,
I love your father christmas, he looks almost regal. We are enjoying your blog as always, kisses, kri
I don't have a father christmas to share (the ones around here wear cheap polyester suits with pillows stuffed under their belts!) but yours is terrific!
Very authentic, Di! Ours all look like fakes to me.
He looks like a ho-ho-ho kind of father christmas. I'll keep my eyes up for a father christmas to share :-)
i don't think i have ever seen a better st. nick!
this is so cool!! I've never seen such a "sophisticated" santa costume!!
He is so much more charming than any Santa I've seen around here! I'm more partial to the real St. Nicholas!
This is a wonderful Father Christmas; one that I would picture for St. Nicholas day coming up!
That's a tough one to beat! They all look the same around here. Just like the one in Anne's post.
Stunning! He is quite grand and one that I don't think we will ever see her in the U.S.!
Hi Di, I love that you've chosen a St. Nikolaus...which makes a huge difference to Father Christmas. He has been a Bishop.
Funny circumstance: my father down in Bavaria fights a lonely war against the omnipresent "Red-one" and collects traditionally "correct" St Nikolaus-es ;)
Wow! He and his beard and costume and the tree behind him are fabulous! Do children sit on St Nick's lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas in Europe?
