I was surprised to know that you met the architect Kengo Kuma.I haven't known him till you told me.You know art of Japan better than me(*^_^*) It is exciting for me to imagine that your friend will come to Japan.I have been to "Muji cafe" in Yurakucho,It's a very nice cafe.
