For me, green is always about nature.....with countryside and gardens. I love to volunteer with the National Trust for Scotland that allows me to visit places all over Scotland and undertake a wide range of conservation work...from the gardens to the coast, from the fields to the mountains.....surrounded by living green! It's so much nicer in the summer if it's not raining!
Culross Palace Gardens, Fife where we often spend time creating new footpaths, pulling weeds etc.
Rhododendrons (rhododendron ponticum) ready to be bashed - a nasty, invasive, non-native species......we spent 2 days clearing this jungle at Culzean on the west coast of Scotland.
The rest of the British countryside can amaze with green too.....

Stunning green around there! I have been to Scotland once and was absolutely in love with that nature!

Beautiful photographs. I particularly love the one of your parents walking through the bower at Alnwick Castle Gardens. I had the good fortune to visit there last month.

I miss the green! Such wonderful pictures...especially the moss and tree one. Must admit that I have a weak spot for clover- such a pleasing simple form.

When I think of you, I think of green! Probably because of Scotland but also because you love the outdoors and you're always helping to make it beautiful!
