Woollie View - This Morning

When I moved house I didn't move far, but even that one flight up seems to have changed my perspective - the view is just stunning from way up here on the top floor. The view the last couple of mornings has been quite surprising - considering I live in the middle of Scotland's 4th largest city....

Yes, that really is an oil rig, jacked way up on it's legs - 170m up in the air! It's the Gorilla IV which has come into port to have some of it's leg length removed as it doesn't need to be so tall any more.

Progress on the flat is slow but steady...some friends came round on Tuesday and we painted over the red walls in the lounge with white so I could move on to the light grey I had chosen for the new colour. Hmm....I painted one wall on Wednesday and it's not as light a grey as I wanted - perhaps I will go back to the drawing board - or just the paint shop and get a lighter shade.

I also bought material to make curtains for the bedroom when I was in Ikea last weekend - love it! Now I just need to get the curtains made.

Wow! What a view - and an exciting place to live! Looks like you're making good progress on the flat -- gray walls will look great with the curtain fabric!

Oh, that grey wall looks so pretty--at least the color on my computer does! I'd never thought of grey walls...

I love the graphic pattern of the fabric! The walls look good to me too... now you have me thinking about painting over my red (didn't we just put it up??).

I love your gey walls, and I love seeing the progress. Sometimes slow is good, it lets you think and rethink how you like things to bee.

Looking forward to continue watching...
