It's starting to look a lot like Christmas!

Less than 2 weeks to go, crafting is in full swing...the question being will I ever finish all the handmade gifts I have planned. Maybe...maybe not....

I did take some time out to put up my Christmas decorations on Sunday...my little tree looks pretty cute dressed in red, silver and white and the mantelpiece is adorned with many a Christmas character, some new and some old favourites.

A friendly little snowman bought on a visit to the Christmas markets in Aachen, Germany.....our favourite, visited in 2003 and 2004!

A well wrapped little Inuit bought on a visit to friends in Newfoundland, April 2005.

Friends on the mantelpiece, a reindeer and candle holders from the Danish Christmas shop..grey Santa from a craft fair in Edinburgh.

This cute little fellow is known as Hanukah Santa, bought at the Christmas Market at the Jewish Museum in Berlin visited in December 2006.

More mantelpiece friends.....

So many cute christmas friends you have Diane! Love the fact that you have bought them around the wprld and that each of them have a "story".

I think I must stay days and days at home to finish the gifts.
