Finally some crafting....

Craft, what is craft........I was beginning to forget.....it had been so long since I posted about anything that I made. So now, I am having a complete craft extravaganza......the reason being, my friends and I have decided to do a craft fair. We will have a stall at the Newburgh Maker's Market on Saturday 14th November. This will be a one-off experience but we thought it might be fun. So far our manufacturing output has been pretty limited. So limited in fact, that when Laura, from Twist Fibre Craft, emailed to ask for a photo showing what we would be selling for the publicity materials we were able to muster 2 felted carrots, a felted pear and 2 felted apples and a green fluffy looking field with red dots!

On Friday night we got together, hoping that mutual crafting would raise production levels! It certainly raised consumption (of food) levels but I am not sure output increased. However, it was fun to get together, so this Friday we will be doing it again!

Here's the latest little production lines....

I have to confess that the carrots are not mine - my friend Andrea - one of the craft stall buddies made the carrots! And yes they are cool!

So cute and fun things you make! It's great to hook up with friends to do crafting (alongside food and wine..), or a bookcircle for my part. Sometimes it's just an excuse to meet and talk and sip some wine. We all clean our husbands and children off and meet and giggle, and discuss books.
