Christmas Past and a Giveaway!!

In another, earlier crafting life I used to do cross-stitch, a lot of cross-stitch.....and it would appear that I was very good at the cross-stitch but not at making something with them or framing them.....it would appear that this finishing issue moved over to my later crafting frenzies!!

I found a pile of slightly crumpled cross-stitch in a box and I took some photos of my cross-stitch collection....

If anyone would like to win one of these completed, yet somehow unfinished cross-stitch pictures then just leave a comment here by the 31st of December and I will choose a winner.....

Oh I remember my cross-stitching days! Short story: I was cross-stitching a gift for my husband (why, i don't know) when I thought I swallowed the needle. Made hubby rush me to the ER. After x-rays and such they told me there was no needle. He hasn't let me live that down yet!

I'm loving the ABC's!

Those are beautiful! I knew you were good at embroidery, but hadn't thought about cross-stitch.
Have a wonderful and merry Christmas!

I love doing cross stitch. I remember when there was only one book out back in the 70's and I made everything in the book. I have lots of counted cross stitch around the house. Love the snowmen!

Hi there..

Found your blog at my friend Kristina´s blog. (karkovski)

I think the snowman in the dark with all the stars are the best and I would love to make him into a christmas-pillow..

Merry christmas from Denmark.. Laila.

Enter me because I just love every one of them!! You were good! I think Caroline would appreciate these also because she just learned a little bit of how to cross-stitch too. But it really doesn't surprise me that you could... you are multi-craft-talented!!! ;))

Impressive! Love them all, but I'll sit out of this one. Just wanted to say hello. I've got my own pile of unfinished projects to go through.
