General Woolliness

My Monkee met Sal's Monkee at knitting group on Wednesday night.....a little monkee business ensued! Coffee with new pals, a little light reading and some knitting....

Thank you to Monkee Maker for the knitted goodness!

Yesterday the postman delivered another piece of goodness through the mail - my winter edition of Marie Claire Idees. A little reminder that I will soon be heading of to Paris with Laurence and Andrea so we can attend the Marie Claire Idees Salon at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.  An excuse isn't really needed to visit Paris, but this was a good one, if one were needed. We will have a day at the Salon (our hotel is within walking distance) and then 2 days to wander around in Paris. We're having a planning meeting on Tuesday to work out what else we want to do and where else we want to shop - a crafting tour of Paris beckons!! Anyone any ideas??

The magazine is full of great crafting and decorating ideas - I always love the winter/Christmas edition the most.... decorations to make, gifts to make, ideas for kids.......

Ha ha, I'm glad to see the lads were causing mayhem at your knitting group .... just watch them around pointy needles (they've been trained well).

That magazine looks lovely and almost makes this old bah-humbug-er feel christmassy! Your upcoming trip to Paris sounds fantastic too.

:)

ps. Regarding a name for your monkee .... I thought the furry ones looked a bit like the welsh crooner Tom, so how about Mr Jones?
