Sheldon is Finished!!

It's time to celebrate, break open the champagne, do a little jig in the street - I have finished Sheldon!! The cute little turtle who can vacate his shell now has his legs attached, his eyes embroidered on and his shell is complete!! Remind me the next time I decide to knit something that requires legs to be sewn on that it is not my strong point! Stuffing also seems to be an acquired art, Sheldon ended up a little lumpy and mishapen - looks like he went 20 rounds with Muhammed Ali!

Aw, I think he's cute! At least his shell actually comes off -- Myrtle's shell comes off "in theory," but I wouldn't recommend it because she's overly stuffed.

Nice to see Sheldon coming out of his shell .... ;)

Your Granada and Switzerland shots are gorgeous - the blue skies, the stunning architecture, the mountains .... oh, how I envy your wanderings!

:)

ps. Your fish really are quite distracting you know - they get me every time!

He is very cool!!! I love his shell! And I know what you mean about it being difficult! I made that dog which looked more like a pig back when I was knitting a lot and it scared me from trying to knit any more stuffed animals! He is so cute though. I hope you do more!
