Woollie's Been Lazy

Well, the weekend is almost over and I don't really have a lot to show for it! It's been spent with friends and included a little knitting, it was Worldwide Knit in Public Day yesterday and we were at knitting group in Newburgh, whilst it wasn't quite nice enough to sit outside, we were in the shop so I suppose it was "in public". I finished off the little jumper for Kelvin.

Today we went to St Andrews for lunch, a long, lazy, Sunday lunch, spent in the company of good friends!

To add a little excitement to this post here's a little collage of photos from my trip to Islay 2 years ago. I just found the disk with the pictures on it and thought I would share. Islay, is an island off the west coast of Scotland famous for it's whisky - 7 distilleries making peaty, smoky tasting whisky, along with beautiful beaches such as Saligo Bay, history in the form of Finlaggan, the centre of the Lordship of the Isles in the 14th and 15th century, where chiefs of the Clan Donald, lords of the Isles, met, and where many of the clan chiefs lie buried.

Great photos as usual Di and your sweater turned out so cute!! I received a wonderful thank you note from Liam's parents who were thrilled with the blankie you made for him!!! They couldn't get over how wonderful it was and that you embroidered his name on it! They said he will love it and they'll keep it for a keepsake when he outgrows it! Thank you so much again!!!
