Woollie Weekend Wanderings

Went to knitting group at Twist on Saturday, our 1030am start didn't end until 215pm - lovely way to spend a grey spring day. I started to knit a putter cover for a colleague at work. He has a zebra putter, they come with striped covers, his is 15 years old and the cover was a little tattered. So I set to knitting a replacement - striped black and white on the outside, and devilishly red and black on the inside!! It was finished on Sunday!

Once again the weather forecast was doom and gloom for the weekend and once again it turned not half bad.....just as well we don't tend to let the weather forecast put us off, we'd never do anything if we did.

We went for our first hike of the season, Craigower Hill in Perthshire - short and sweet - we thought 2 hours but we managed in just over 1. The view from the top over Loch Tummel was beautiful, though the weather could have been brighter...

Then it was off to the Moulin Inn for lunch. We sat outside, believe me we wouldn't have sat outside if there was a table inside!

That scenery is just gorgeous!! I wish I had more adventurous friends like yours. We tend to do lazy things instead of great hikes like this!
I LOVE that putter cover!! The inside is great! You are such a giving person... always making something for someone else!

Hiking? In the cold? Before lunch? My goodness, I'm out of breath just thinking about it. It is a fabtastic view though.
Great putter cover- it's reversible as well!
