Woollie's Been Wandering Again!

I'm just back from a long weekend away visiting friends! I'm not going to say where just yet but I will leave you with a little shot of a couple of the most famous buildings in the City I was visiting - any guesses?

I'll do a proper update on my wanderings in the next day or two - but I had a great time!!

Last week The Scotsman newspaper published this picture! It made me smile so much that I thought I would share it with you (and the associated article in on an architectural website explains all!) The thought of knitting a giant hat for a block of flats.......

Oooh, you little tease! I have no idea where it is. Sadly I'm not very well travelled.

And can you just imagine the size of the needles they needed to make those hats??

:)

I don't know either...the worst part is that I probably studied that cathedral in art history but still have no clue. I'm thinking France because of the light but I have no idea!!! I love the knit hat!!! That might fit my big head!!!

ooh! I know, I know! Did you go on the roof of the cathedral too?? Was the big skeleton still there in the square below?

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The sweater blanket was lots of fun to make, but it took me awhile with life always getting in the way! It's nice and warm, so it does what it was meant to do!
