Woollie - Purchase

This time is really was a woollie purchase. My first Etsy purchase - can I see it being the first of many........

I had first discovered Charlie's creations over on her blog The Pigeon Loft  and fell in love with the little round bundles of wool she has created - can you imagine a crocheted pigeon! I often have real pigeons that stand on the window ledge outside my kitchen and I thought that Pigeon No. 15 would be happy looking at them from the inside.

It was a great purchase - Charlie was the perfect seller - the pigeon came with his own little passport and a pattern to knit a little woollie jumper - Charlie's attention to detail was amazing!

PS I've finally realised that my blogger text was small and that "normal" is so much easier to read - the joys of blogger's easy to use software now being available in Mac format - I was so used to having to use html to publish my posts that it's taken me a while to adapt to just clicking buttons to insert links etc.......

Thanks for the larger font! ;) First ETSY purchase? Careful, it gets dangerous! You just can't stop yourself.

I love that it came with it's own knitting pattern! What a great pigeon! We'll be watching for your etsy addiction now ;)
I just realized that I should check my font size too. I go to the eye doctor on Wed. and she'll probably tell me I sit in front of the computer too much and get eyestrain!!!

And "a pattern how to knit a jumper" for your little bird is just great! Your bird is CUTE!

Blogspot has been very userfriendly to me as a PC-user all along. How strange that it shouldn´t work as well for MAC-users.

Poop is so incredibly cute. No wonder you fell for him. Now you have a pigeon(s) both on the inside and the outside of you window. I fear Etsy!

I love your pigeon! He reminds me of a wedding present we received: matching pigeon candlesticks made by a friend of my parents. They were sort of cool except they were also really unstable and kept falling over, so we exchanged them with her for a butter dish. (Not to worry, she gave them to us with permission to give them back.)

I'd like to see the sweater you make him!
