WANDERINGS - FINAL INSTALLMENT LONDON

I spent my weekend staying with my friends Julia and Garry who moved into their home about 16 months ago and have slowly been redecorating and renovating. I took a few pictures of some of the features - but the sofa picture was blurry so no sofa photos and it was so nice and purple!!

Lovely lampshades from Graham & Green and Habitat, coloured glass in the dining room, the memory shelf, the dried alliums, beautiful candle holders on the mantelpiece, great wallpaper and so much more! It really does look great!

Making Blog Mosaics
- People have been asking about the photo mosaic layout which you will notice I learnt to do recently - thanks to Uschi over at Papierwelt! So I thought I would share my (well Uschi's) methods. I know that there are ways of doing it in photoshop etc but my mosaic was created in Powerpoint. Opening a blank slide, insert photos from your files and then you can make them smaller and rearrange them to fit on the page. When you save the file it gives you the option to save it as a jpeg and if you do that you can then put it into your blog!

The photo mosaic is a brilliant idea thanks for sharing it with us. I read in your last post about Kings Cross platform 93/4. Emily and I visited during the summer holidays and took photos of her with the trolley, it was great and very popular with all the tourists.

In this case I would love to see the single phots bigger, each one is a mosaic on it's own! Great shots!!

I have loved reading about your London wanderings. So many tempting places to visit, and so many lovely photos. I haven't been in London since '98, perhaps it's time to go again...

I would have never guessed that you could use Powerpoint to do that!!! Once I get a new computer (and some photos) I can't wait to try it!

You can create a mosaic there, too. :)
