Weekend and Blankie in Progress

Can't believe that the weekend is almost over - Friday evening and Saturday were spent helping friends pack up their house as they are moving to Paris next week.....still doesn't seem real that they are leaving, but leaving they are.

Then there was the impromptu night out at a friend's house where too much gin (usually I don't drink more than one drink a month) was consumed that led to me going to bed at 3am and when I awoke at 830am I realised that I was going to have to cancel my planned morning run......after a few hours lounging on the sofa I felt fine....so the rest of the day could continue....

The afternoon was spent at another friends house where we had some knitting, sewing and general crafting going on whilst, chatting and eating great cake.....all in all a good weekend!

Here's the latest blankie I am working on: from the initial full drawing - I usually have various ideas that come together over time to complete the finalised plan......to the start of the sewing and embroidery...
